Woodcleft Crabshack at 150 Woodcleft Avenue, Freeport, New York.

My husband and I travelled a good distance to the Guitar Show today at the Freeport Community Center, and decided to eat an early dinner on Nautical Mile. We decided to try Woodcleft Crabshack and were VERY dissapointed. Some of the steamed clams tasted fishy and had sand in them. The loveboat meal had overcooked seafood, was very oily and lacked flavor. The soft shelled crabs were ok, but not great. "The salad and bread were good". The service was poor due to poor staffing; two waitresses and a hostess were serving, busing and making drinks. I ran out of water twice and had to keep asking for more, as I ate my meal dry. We should have left after my husband's bland bisque and fishy/sandy clams, but we gave the meals a chance. $80 something dollars later and $15 tip, as it wasn't the waitresses fault. Very dissatisfied and will never return!! I ended up with food poisoning late Saturday night##
